About CEL Advanced Technologies Group

The Cleveland Electric Labs Advanced Technologies Group is located in Tempe, Arizona with a Machining Services Center located nearby in Phoenix, Arizona. Our focus is on the manufacture, design and development of Aerospace, Security and Industrial sensing systems applying various existing and new state-of-the-art technology disciplines. Our Engineering staff is constantly providing the innovative concepts and sensing methods that offer our customers the best solution for their requirements.

When we started the Advanced Technologies Group in September of 2004, our main focus was and continues to be today, the manufacture of temperature, pressure and strain instrumentation for the turbine engine test industry. As we began to grow, our interests in new technologies deepened and more recently we have expanded our offerings to include various Fiber optic based product lines. We now have patents on several industrial products such as HotShot, strain sensing bolts, linear and rotary position sensors and temperature sensors. Additionally, we have developed and patented several Fiber Optic based products for the Structural Health Monitoring and Security industries as well.
